Acer ET322QKwmiipx 31.5-Inch 4K LCD Monitor

Gosh, these product codenames.Anyway, Acer launched a new 31.5-Inch monitor, this one is Ultra HD 4K. The VA LED-backlight monitor supports a native resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels and provides 3000:1 contrast ratio, 300 cd/m2 brightness, 4ms response time and 178/178 degree viewing angles.

Adopting the Blue Light Reduction function – reducing eyestrain and NSH technology – flickering does not occur. Equipped with built-in stereo speakers (2Wx2), the ET322QKwmiipx provides 2x HDMI 2.0 (HDCP2.2 compatible) and 2x DisplayPort 1.2 input ports. Other highlights include Picture-in-Picture (PIP) function – sub-screens are shown on the main screen and Picture-by-Picture (PBP) – 2 the tile surface, divided into equal left and right screen.

The Acer ET322QKwmiipx is available now for 55,000 Yen, which is roughly $489.

Apparently, it comes with HDR10 and supports AMD's FreeSync, whilst sold only in Japan.

HDR10 support is something to a true HDR screen. This is once again one of the 'fake' HDR things, at a brightness 300 cd/m² full HDR is just not possible.

I see, thanks for emphasising that. I find it to be a bit of an odd ball this screen, not entirely sure what to think of it other than "not for me" since it doesn't tick my boxes of demanded features.

This looks similar specs to the AOC U3277FWQ 4K 32" screen i've just bought, a great addition to my OCed/WCed 1080Ti :).

Why odd, a 32" 4K screen that doesnt cost the earth.
