A Canadian retailer has listed ASUS Z690 motherboards.

The first of new ASUS Z690 motherboards have recently been listed by PC Canada. TUF, ROG Maximus, ROG Strix, and Prime motherboards are listed, however Apex and Extreme boards aren't mentioned, thus they may not be available at launch.

Except for some of the Prime series models, all of the models appear to be less expensive than their Z590 counterparts, which may come as a pleasant surprise to many. According to a recent revelation from @Komachi, the VRM design for these boards will be upgraded in numerous ways. The Z690 Hero will have a 20+1 phase design with 90 A Power Stages, whereas the Z690 Hero will have a 14+1 design.

Models Listed

  • ROG Maximus Z690 HERO: $788.99 (625 USD)
  • ROG STRIX Z690-F Gaming WiFi: $510.99 (405 USD)
  • ROG STRIX Z690-A Gaming WiFi D: $446.99 (354 USD)
  • TUF Gaming Z690-PLUS WiFI D4: $370.99 (294 USD)
  • PRIME Z690-A: $382.99 (303 USD)
  • PRIME Z690-P WiFi: $318.99 (253 USD)
  • PRIME Z690-P WIFI D4: $306.99 (243 USD)
  • PRIME Z690-P: $293.99 (233 USD)
  • PRIME Z690-P D4: $280.99 (222 USD)

On November 4th, Intel will unveil their 12th Generation Alder Lake desktop processors, as well as the new Z690 chipset, which supports DDR5 and PCIe 5.0.

if the Hero is priced at 625$ then what's left for the higher models such as Formula and Xtreme? the Formula was sitting between 400~500$ and from the look of things now it will be around 800$ if not more. it's crazy.

I buy all kinds of PC gear,I like my motherboards in the $200-$250 Canadian range as I personally find I can get a good overclock without any performance loss over the more expensive motherboards.
Seems like prices are up on the Asus motherboards but there are still some in the price range I like.Doh no there is none

Typing on a ASUS Z-490 Tuf WiFi that I paid $220 Canadian,I see the Asus Z690 Tuf WiFi listed at $370 Canadian, would not fall in my preferred price range.
