A snapshot of a 7-Zip benchmark showed that the next flagship Intel Core i9-13900K CPU outperformed its predecessor by 20% and 60% in compression and decompression tests.

The i9-13900K is expected to have a higher boost speed of 5.8 GHz and 24 total cores, 8 of which will be High Efficiency. The i9-13900maximum K's single-thread frequency is 5716 MHz, while its maximum clock speed across 16 threads is 4611 MHz, both significant increases over the i9-12900K's. Both CPUs were installed on an unnamed motherboard with 32GB of DDR5-6400CL32 memory. Intel is rumored to present its new product portfolio on September 27th; these findings have yet to be verified.
