GTA 6 will arrive in 2024 (according to a Microsoft document)

After numerous leaks and much discussion, a possible release date for GTA 6 has emerged. According to Microsoft, the Rockstar Games-developed game will be released in 2024.

The disclosure was made through official documents pertaining to the British government's approval of the Activision acquisition. It should be emphasised that huge corporations such as Microsoft have access to exclusive information in advance. Thus, all of this might be true, and the game could be released in two years. Take-Two Interactive, which published Grand Theft Auto V for many years following its 2013 release, and Red Dead Redemption 2 are pervasive companies. The highly anticipated Grand Theft Auto VI is slated for release in 2024, according to the rumour.

The document further states, "Both games are recognised to have Shooter-type characteristics by major digital retailers such as Steam."

In this document, the manufacturer reveals that Activision's games do not represent a significant enough percentage of the market to harm the competition, citing Rockstar and Take-Two Interactive as examples of other major games and publishers. The release date has not yet been confirmed officially. Publisher Take-Two and developer Rockstar have yet to confirm a release date for Grand Theft Auto VI, despite the information.

Actually GTA V first came to PS3/Xbox360 in 2013, so its 11 years IF GTA VI will really come in 2024..

Also knowing Rockstar it will come to PC a year later.

Ahh.. you are right, my ability to count is bad.

For some reason I only counted to this year, lol.

What are the chances it gets delayed to 2025.... because reasons... I don't know maybe World War 3 happens by then *shrugs*

As a fan of GTA I'm saddened by how it was delayed due to GTA online in the first place. Same with Elder Scrolls. Disgusting.

Its because they wait untill all money they can cream from GTA V is finished. The product is dead so we can release new then milik it for another decade. This marketing strategy seems to be working pretty well for Rockstar.
