3DMark Benchmarks for GeForce RTX 3070 surface

The first benchmarks results for the GeForce RTX 3070 have surfaced on UL's ORB, thus the 3Dmark series  Strike Ultra, Fire Strike Extreme, Time Spy, Time Spy Extreme and Port Royal.



The card manages to achieve 17,115 points in Firestrike Extreme (GPU score), and 8,749 points in Fire Strike Ultra. Photos from Time Spy and Time Spy Extreme shows 13,945 and 6,907 points. In Port Royal test for ray tracing, the card achieved a score of 8,324 points, good for 38.5 fps. Videocardz mentions the results came from RTX 3070s at the reference clock speeds and the default TDP of 220 watts. Nvidia's reviewer guide also mentions the card will be up to 16 dBA quieter.

The GeForce RTX 3070 has a GA104 GPU, accompanied by 5888 Shading cores. In addition, this graphics card comes equipped with 8 GB GDDR6 memory, unlike the models based on the GA102 GPU that comes with the X variant. Nvidia will make the RTX 3070 available on October 29th.
