Intel XeSS feature test is a function test of the 3D benchmark software '3DMark' that supports Intel's upscaling technology 'XeSS'. UL Benchmarks will release the test. The results screen shows the average framerate for each phase and the performance difference in percentage.

With it you can examine the performance difference between Intel XeSS and native resolution rendering. The 3DMark Port Royal-based benchmark first measures native resolution performance with TAA, and then uses XeSS mode to upscale a lower-resolution picture. The results screen shows the average framerate for each phase and the performance difference in percentage. Also included is a frame inspector tool for testing. Intel XeSS and native resolution renderings can be viewed side by side, freely moved and scaled to compare image quality.

All users of 3DMark Advanced Edition or 3DMark Professional Edition can download the latest version, which includes the "Intel XeSS feature test," at no cost. In addition, the test operation requires a GPU that supports Intel XeSS and Microsoft DirectX Raytracing Tier 1.1, and an OS environment of Windows 11 or Windows 10 version 20H2 or later.
