2K Games is responsible for series like BioShock, NBA2K, and Borderlands, and it appears that last Tuesday, the company was hacked. In a recent message posted on Twitter, the company claims that an unauthorized third party has gained access to the credentials that give access to its support platform.

“This unauthorized person sent an email to some players that contained a malicious link. Please do not open any email or click on any link received from the 2K Games support email," the company said. And if there are people who have, the company recommends that they change their passwords to access their 2K account as soon as possible.

2K Games advises users to enable two-step authentication.
According to the company's urgent message, the attackers did not compromise any player data, nor did they have access to confidential documents. “Please note that 2K Games staff will never ask you for your passwords or other personal information. Our support portal will remain offline as we continue to resolve this issue," the company explained. They also promise to update users on the topic very soon and clear up any questions that may arise in the future.

“We apologize for any inconvenience this issue may have caused. We appreciate the continued support and understanding of our communities." This situation comes just a few days after Take-Two Interactive , owner of 2K Games, was attacked by a hacker who stole hundreds of images and videos of GTA 6 , and published them on the Internet.
