Something tiny and simple today. We review the MX-Technology MX-ES USB 3.0 SLC flash drive, a USB 3.0 stick equipped with SLC NAND Flash memory allowing it to boast speeds up-to  160MB/s for read and writes ! So this flash drive will get you  performance of roughly 160MB/sec peaks and that really is unheard of for a small handy flash storage drive.

Review: MSI GeForce GTX 660 HAWK Edition

We review the MSI GeForce GTX 660 HAWK graphics card in this article. The MSI HAWK is released in the mid-range segment, yet received a high-end treatment from MSI.  Armed with a customized PCB, TwinFrozr IV cooler, military class components and to top it off, a very high factory overclock that places this product smack down in the middle of GeForce GTX 660 Ti performance.  The HAWK edition also comes with the V-Check points that allow voltage measurement points for enthusiasts wanting accurate voltage readings via multi-meter. Not bad for a 175 EUR card really.

Nanoxia Deep Silence One review

In this article today we test the Nanoxia Deep Silence 1 chassis. Nanoxia is a relatively new player in the chassis market, based in Germany they just released their Deep Silence 1, a very impressive chassis with some pretty terrific features. The DS1 comes in three models: Deep Silence 1 Silver, Deep Silence 1 Anthracite and Deep Silence 1 White. We test the standard black with its great looks and sound dampened version. As you'll notice very little is actually regular about this chassis, is it true what they say about German build quality?

GeForce 9800 GT vs GeForce 660 GTX review

We place the GeForce 9800 GT vs GeForce 660 GTX in a quick four page article slash review. Demographics show that a lot of end-users who purchased their PC a couple of years ago very likely still have that GeForce 9800 GT. NVIDIA's demographics show that the people that are still using that card (and apparently it is a lot of them) are bound to upgrade, and the most logical step is the GeForce TX 660. So why not have a quick peek at how these two cards performs -- the old versus the new.

The factory overclocked product has a whopping three slot design and comes packed with five fans blowing air through a huge aluminum fin area that is covered with a metal cover to optimize the overall airflow. An Anti-turbulence cooler features nine 6mm copper heatpipes leading to a massive vapor chamber cooler. EVGA GeForce GTX 680 Classified 4GB with EVBOT review

We'll test the EVGA GeForce GTX 680 Classified today. A product that is 100% customized from PCB to cooling. Software voltage regulation works, but obviously as well is limited to that 1.175V. EVGA however does have an alternative for the Classified model as tested today, you can hook up a small piece of hardware to it called EVBot, which controls the voltages directly at hardware level, and thus bypassing the NVAPI software limitation.

OCZ Fatal1ty 1000W PSU review

By Hilbert Hagedoorn on: 07/23/2012 10:54 AM | 0 comment(s) ]

We review the OCZ Fatal1ty 1000W PSU. The power supply is on the market for a little while now already and it one of the more popular models. It offers gold efficiency, a single 12V rail. The PSU itself is modular has good looks and something you can appreciate for those of you with a side panel window in their chassis. Being 1000W and with all the aforementioned features the PSU is priced in the 190 EUR range here in the Netherlands. To top it off, OCZ even gives this PSU a 5 year carry in warranty.

Corsair GS800 PSU review

By Hilbert Hagedoorn on: 07/18/2012 11:31 AM | 0 comment(s) ]

We review the Corsair GS800 power supply. The power supply is on the market for a while now already and it one of the more popular models. It offers Bronze efficiency, a single 12V rail and comes with a fan that doesn't activate until you use 20% of PSU load.

That fan BTW can be lit with three led colors. The PSU itself is non-modular, not a biggy for most, but most of you with a side panel window in their chassis really want modular cables. Being 800W and with all the aforementioned features the PSU is priced in the 90 EUR range here in the Netherlands, and that's not a bad price as you are about to find out. Read the article here.

Silverstone GD07 HTPC chassis review

We review the Silverstone GD07 HTPC chassis. The Grandia GD07, an updated version which offers everything you ever wanted in for a HTPC, it's so spacious that you could even use it as a very cool desktop PC. I mean Extended ATX (EATX) sized motherboards fit (!), heck you can even throw in very long graphics cards in there as we'll show you.
