Download the Nvidia GeForce GameReady 381.78 Hotfix driver as released by NVIDIA.

We have a discussion thread open on this driver right here. You can now download the GeForce Hotfix driver 381.78 that Nvidia released. This driver fixes an issue in combination with the Windows 10 Creators Update booting to a black screen on certain notebooks and desktops. In our forums users report it also fixes an idle GPU voltage bug and ICC profiles.

Link says Win7, my download was Win10.

These drivers do not fix the boot to black screen for me. In fact, they may be worse then the previous 381.65 drivers. I now have to unplug and replug the HDMI cable to get the image. Also, this driver and the previous 381.65 defaulted to

Output Color Format: YCbCr???
Output Color Depth: 12 bit

I have to click the, Use Nvidia Color Settings, and set RGB, 8 bit.

My monitor is a Samsung UN48JS9000. Didn't have any issues at all, till these drivers and the new "Windows 10 Creators Update".

Nice driver for w10 Creators Update. Last one was just a mess!

I have this "boot to black screen" issue! Started recently. I did not know it is driver related. I hope this hotfix will fix this...

Same lol before this driver and i am not even using a laptop lol.
