NVFlash Download v5.667.0

Download NVFlash. NVFlash os the official NVIDIA utility to flash the graphics card BIOS (firmware) on GeForce RTX 2070, 2080, 2080 Ti, Titan V, GeForce 1080 Ti, 1080, 1070, 1060, 1050 and older cards.
NVFlash is used to update the firmware stored in the EEPROM of an NVIDIA display adapter. It can also be used to perform other tasks on the adapter such as saving a copy of the current firmware image to a file, displaying the version of the firmware image, or determining the EEPROM part present on a display adapter. NVFLASH is a command line utility that can be run standalone from the command prompt, run from batch files, or spawned from other programs.
- Make backups with the following command (in dos): nvflash -b filename.bin
- Flash your bios with: nvflash -f filename.bin or nvflash filename.bin
Warning
There is a real danger of a display adapter becoming unbootable and thus preventing the entire system from booting if the update process is interrupted due to a software fault, power failure, the operator manually resetting the computer (for example via a reset switch), or the operator updating an adapter with the wrong firmware image. For this reason, care should be taken when using this utility.

I don't often flash the GPU's bios so I'm not very knowledgeable on how it all works and best practices and such though one last bit of advice is to be careful if you do it under Windows as some of the available flash utilities might work as intended only in a boot-loader / "DOS" environment to be able to fully restart or access the GPU device although by now I'm sure there's well tested Windows versions too, maybe this is one of them so it might not be as big of a issue these days. (Same with motherboard bios updating although these days with USB nearly automatic bios management / flashing on newer boards it's much easier to do.)
Last GPU I flashed was a AMD 6970 where I had one of the faulty models with incorrect clock speeds set, turns out (I learned this later.) that the 6970 was locked so flashing the GPU nearly bricked it if it hadn't been for the bios switch this model had.

Never flashed a GPU i think. I have been thinking about flashing my asus 1080ti oc to a Poseidon firmware as it runs a little faster still. But a good firmware is hard to come by?

Thanks Jonas. Have you done it?
Those guys really thought that I was just going to blindly start
flashing my videocard bios lol that's just silly. Of course it's dangerous and not very common and yes I know I could have had a look at Overclock.net but I thought of the craziest thing and thought about asking here.
