GeForce 466.74 Hotfix driver download

Download GeForce 466.74 hotfix drivers. The hotfix addresses fix for crashing Kepler and Turing video cards.
Game Ready Drivers provide the best possible gaming experience for all major new releases, including Virtual Reality games. Prior to a new title launching, our driver team is working up until the last minute to ensure every performance tweak and bug fix is optimized for the best gameplay on day-1. We have a discussion thread open on this driver here in our Nvidia driver discussion forums. For those that wonder, the DCH driver is a Microsoft DCH (Declarative Componentized Hardware supported apps) driver and refers to a new Windows 10 driver package preinstalled by OEMS implementing the Microsoft Universal Driver paradigm. While the base core component files remain the same, the way DCH drivers are packaged differs from previous Legacy (Standard) drivers. We recommend the normal driver and not DCH.
Nvidia has released the GeForce Hotfix Driver 466.74. This driver is based on version 466.63 WHQL and is intended to resolve sporadic crashes of Kepler and Turing video cards. Users who are not affected by this issue do not need to download the optional driver. Specifically, it concerns cards from the GTX 600, 700 and 16 lines, as well as the RTX 2000 models. Remarkably, the Pascal GPUs (GTX 10xx) are not affected. The problem occurs in the form of a bluescreen with the error code DCP Watchdog Violation, which should be solved by this driver.
- [Kepler/Turing]: DCP WATCHDOG VIOLATION error may occur on some systems with GeForce GTX 600/700/16 and GeForce RTX 20 series GPUs [3321668][3321735]

Ah, so the usual "trust me, i experienced it" line that doesn't line up with any benchmarking done that consistently proves completely otherwise.
You have 8GB of ram and a CPU that was gimped hard by spectre mitigations, but its nvidia's fault your sims are slower.

A driver will not fix the lack of proper occlusion culling.

Any chance it fixes pascal cards crashing in Elite Dangerous, or am I being too hopeful here and I've got to wait for Fdev to fix it instead?
