Game Ready Drivers provide the best possible gaming experience for all major new releases, including Virtual Reality games. Prior to a new title launching, our driver team is working up until the last minute to ensure every performance tweak and bug fix is optimized for the best gameplay on day-1. We have a discussion thread open on this driver here in our Nvidia driver discussion forums. For those that wonder, the DCH driver is a Microsoft DCH (Declarative Componentized Hardware supported apps) driver and refers to a new Windows 10 driver package preinstalled by OEMS implementing the Microsoft Universal Driver paradigm. While the base core component files remain the same, the way DCH drivers are packaged differs from previous Legacy (Standard) drivers. We recommend the normal driver and not DCH.
- This new Game Ready Driver provides support for The Medium, a new adventure-horror game
- that features ray tracing and our performance-accelerating NVIDIA DLSS technology.
- Includes support for GeForce RTX 30 Series laptops (RTX 3080, RTX 3070, RTX 3060).

Try it yourself, load up Warzone for example with LatencyMon enabled, and compare the latency from the 461.xs to any driver from 432 - 460

Why did they remove functionality with DisableWriteCombining?

Because this is an old PCI feature that has no relevance on pcie.

I'm on 457.51 (optimal power global with high performance per game bases) For some reason I noticed my latency jumped up to 800 and 940dpc while literally doing nothing 5 mins in just while having twitch up (main focus) I have no idea why twitch triggers such randomly high dpc spikes.Maybe the constant chat loading up or how it loads the streams?
Wierdly I don't see any dpc spikes above 400 even if I play a game while twitch is in the background (or the browser with twitch going on is minimized).I wonder if it's because performance mode is set to optimal for the gpu in the Nvidia control panel.Latency seems overall more stable when high performance it set to globally in the nvidia control panel.
Technically I got no warning still it was kinda wierd to get such a high dpc spike of over 900 just from having twitch up while afk.

Anyone actually getting a smooth experience with their 3080?Pretty much every game I play has some form of random micro stutter(Ranging from once in a while to kinda frequently'ish) I play apex/black desert online/Wow and Rust.Yea it also doesn't help bdo/apex aren't exactly the most optimised but still and its mostly very random.I tried multiple ddu clean drivers/clean install of w10 with no success.
My old 1080ti had more stable frametimes then this and I'm kinda regretting even getting this thing at this point.
Also looking up the Nvidia forums there's ppl with similar unexplained micro stutters.
Rig:3080/9900k/970 evo/16gb 3200mhz/rog maximus XI hero/rmx 750W PSU w/1080p 144hz g-sync monitor (w10 20h2) Currently using driver 457.51
Bios:disabled speedstep/speedshift and c-states.
Tried latencymon with twitch up as the main thing taking monitor space.
Technically getting no warning but still seems kinda high. The highest dpc routine was actually lower before I clean installed w10 (same driver)
UPDATE:Ok if twitch is in the background it seems like the result is much lower.I can have music on youtube and the same twitch stream (in the background).I wonder if it's all the emotes/chat causing the higher then normal result.(especially a streamers with alot of viewers)
