Download the Nvidia GeForce, 461.33 hotfix driver, as released by NVIDIA. This release fixes several issues in regards to Adobe Premiere Pro, Detroit: Become Human and Assassin's Creed Valhalla.

Game Ready Drivers provide the best possible gaming experience for all major new releases, including Virtual Reality games. Prior to a new title launching, our driver team is working up until the last minute to ensure every performance tweak and bug fix is optimized for the best gameplay on day-1. We have a discussion thread open on this driver here in our Nvidia driver discussion forums. For those that wonder, the DCH driver is a Microsoft DCH (Declarative Componentized Hardware supported apps) driver, and refers to a new Windows 10 driver package preinstalled by OEMS implementing the Microsoft Universal Driver paradigm.  While the base core component files remain the same, the way DCH drivers are packaged differs from previous Legacy (Standard) drivers.

GeForce Hotfix display driver version 460.97 is based on our latest Game Ready Driver 460.89.

The hotfix addresses the following issues:
  • Adobe Premiere Pro may freeze when using Mercury Playback Engine GPU Acceleration (CUDA) [3230997/200686504]
  • [461.09] NVIDIA Broadcast Camera filter may hang. [200691869]
  • [Steam VR game]: Stuttering and lagging occur upon launching a game (Without using any Hardware monitoring tool). [3152190]
  • [Detroit: Become Human]: The game randomly crashes. [3203114]
  • [NVENC] Colors of webcam video image on receiving end of Zoom may appear incorrect [3205912]
  • [Assassin's Creed Valhalla] Game may randomly crash after extended gameplay [200679654]
  • [X4: Foundations][Vulkan]: The game may crash on GeForce RTX 30 series GPUs. [3220107]
  • [X4: Foundations][Vulkan]: HUD in the game is broken. [3169099]

Agreed. Getting a nvlddmkm error every hour or so.

grab the dump file out of the zip in the reliability history associated to the driver crash and send it to nvidia.

I've never done this before so I tried to google it and did find the Reliability History and the two driver crashes I had yesterday but not sure what you mean by "grab the dump file out of the zip". I can right click on the event and select "show technical information", then "copy to clipboard" and finally save in a .TXT file...is that it?

There should be a hypertext to unpack dump files and the wer data

driver resets and crashes are meant to automatically prepare reports for microsoft including the live kernel or kernel/mini dumps in a zip along with the exception code in a text file.

ugh... it looks like microsoft removed this in 2017 or 18, another thing they've gone and screwed.

this was the only way to get live kernel tdr dump files since they started automatically deleting them from the windows folder.

Alright, you'll need to change a setting in GPEdit to get at the files,

    https://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/108795-change-windows-error-problem-reporting-settings-windows-10-a.html

    It'll have to be on

Always ask before sending data (Each time a problem occurs, ask me before checking for solutions) - Windows prompts users for consent to send reports.

    Edit:

nope, another feature ****ed by microsoft, the hardware event doesn't have the temporary files hypertext and the livekernel folder is still emptied.

    Eureka!!!!!

    in gpedit.msc

    Computer Configuration
    > Administrative Templates > Windows Components > Windows Error Reporting > Advanced Error Reporting Settings.

    Open "Configure Report Archive"
Set it to Enabled, drop down to Store all.

Reproducing application crashes and TDR's will now retain the Zip file containing the dump file allowing you to extract it and forward it on to driverfeedback@nvidia.com

Quite the explanation :) I've enabled this and will play the game tomorrow. Hopefully it crashes so that I can extract the the data required to driverfeedback.
