Download the Nvidia driver GeForce 416.64 hotfix as released by NVIDIA. It fixes stability issues with Far Cry 5:, Monster Hunter World and the Witcher 3 Wild Hunt as well as Shadow of the Tomb Raider.

Game Ready Drivers provide the best possible gaming experience for all major new releases, including Virtual Reality games. Prior to a new title launching, our driver team is working up until the last minute to ensure every performance tweak and bug fix is included for the best gameplay on day-1. Please note: Effective April 2018, Game Ready Driver upgrades, including performance enhancements, new features, and bug fixes, will be available only on Kepler, Maxwell, Pascal and Volta series GPUs. Critical security updates will be available on Fermi series GPUs through January 2019. We have a discussion thread open on this driver here in our Nvidia driver discussion forums.

This is GeForce Hot Fix driver version 416.64 that addresses the following:
  • Far Cry 5: Flicker during gameplay
  • Monster Hunter World: Corruption is seen when Volume Rendering Quality is set to highest
  • The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt: Flicker during gameplay
  • Shadow of the Tomb Raider: Improves game stability

Well in the 8 years you had the 480, if you had saved $140 dollars a year, you could have saved enough for a 2080ti!

You are using one of Nvidias heater chips also stay away form GTX 680,770-780 ti. Hope to God you are not running sli 480's thats alot of useless heat.

Who is to say he is running them with the stock coolers? He could have them under water? Or a better hsf?

I had a reference GTX480 and yea sure it heated up a lot, I slapped on an Arctic Accellro Xtreme III cooler onto it and the chip never rose above 55C and it was overclocked using 1.2v @ 850MHz/1700MHz/2000MHz remember the GTX480 still used the old clock speed design where it had a separate clock speed for the engine and shaders.

Is the DCH version the new windows declarative INF directives .. installer without co-installers ?
Is there any difference between the standard vs DCH version except what I mentioned above ?
