Download the GeForce 313.96 Beta driver. This is the recommended GeForce driver for the Crysis 3 Multiplayer Open Beta. It delivers a smoother gaming experience, and boosts SLI performance by up to 65%. EA’s recommended GeForce GPU for Crysis 3 is a GeForce GTX 560 or higher. For the Hi-Performance PC Specification, EA recommends GeForce GTX 680.

Other highlights include sizeable SLI and single-GPU performance gains of up to 27% in Assassin’s Creed III, 19% in Civilization V, 14% in Call of Duty: Black Ops 2, 14% in DiRT 3, 11% in Just Cause 2, 10% in Deus Ex: Human Revolution, 10% in F1 2012, and 10% in Far Cry 3.

Rounding out the release is a SLI profile for the newly released DmC: Devil May Cry, and an updated profile for the free-to-play, third-person co-op shooter, Warframe.

GeForce 313.96 drivers fix an installation issue reported with GeForce 313.95 drivers with international (non-English) driver packages.

The 690 is nothing else but a single PCB SLI system...

I wonder what that V-sync On (Smooth) option does? Is it the equivalent of capping the framerate to 1 fps less than the refresh rate of the screen, e.g. 59 fps for a 60 Hz display? I can't see it being a triple buffering option at this point (NVIDIA have ignored it for years after all except for OpenGL) as many developers seem to implement it into the games now even if it isn't an option as I don't generally see the sudden telltale dips from 60 fps to 30 fps and then back up to 60 fps anymore.

According to this post, it's some kind of additional frametime smoothing for SLI configurations that has already been in the drivers before but if now an official feature:

Just tested these with ACIII & no difference :thumbdown

To me the words "Up to 28%" includes 0% and maybe even some negative numbers.

    690 is more noisy than two after-market 680's :)

Well I've just done 70 minutes in Battlefield 3 with these new beta drivers and everything is smooth ! No frame skipping or stuttering. Feels nice and fast so I'm a happy chappy :)
