Final Fantasy XIV: Heavensward Benchmark Download

Download Final Fantasy XIV: Heavensward Benchmark. If you're a fan of Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn, or simply want a new tool to measure your system's performance, you should definitely download the freshly-released Final Fantasy XIV: Heavensward Benchmark. The benchmark works in DirectX 9 and DirectX 11, with plenty of settings to opt.
Featuring content from the forthcoming, eponymous expansion that raises the MMORPG's max level to 60 and adds a ton of new content, the Heavensward Benchmark also introduces gamers to a new DirectX 11 renderer and new visual effects, which include HBAO+.
If you're unfamiliar with HBAO+, the DirectX 11-powered technique adds contact shadows where two surfaces or objects meet, and where an object blocks light from reaching another nearby game element. Compared to other ambient occlusion techniques, HBAO+'s shadows are more accurate and more detailed, and have a comparatively low performance impact, making games appear more realistic without a huge hit to your precious framerate. In the Final Fantasy XIV: Heavensward Benchmark, HBAO+ more accurately shades characters, NPCs, objects, terrain, foliage, and grass.

Very nice benchmark with beautiful scenery. I like that is a "real" graphic engine from a real game and not a theoretical one.

Loved this benchmark. I know it is nothing top of the line but I believe this game to be well made and has come a long way. However my PC had very little issue handling itself at max everything dx11.
aside graphic, gameplay is **** ... no offense but i was a long ff14 player
content all copying wow or other mmo
and the worst is they (dev.team) basically create a design that "stressing" player than giving player "enjoyment"
its like u go to end-contents, weekly limited for luck based loot... it can be 3months long without getting anything ... while other people/friends can get all they end content equip straight up in just 2-3weeks and there like nothing to do till next patch...
seriously not sure even the dev.team have brains in game design ...
luck-factor in game is fun factor if not overly used
then now they started selling stuff, mount-minion-etc. to get more profit..
also for graphic, imo "black dessert" abit better, and everything in there abit more fresh (eventhough the basic still all same)

While I do agree that the end content drops can be crappy with a weekly lockout and RNG, the devs are actually paying attention to user feedback and introducing a token system so that even if you don't get your drop you will still get it eventually via the tokens. As for the store comment, well WOW has no problem charging £20+ for a mount or the character boost and in comparison the FFXIV store is cheaper with the most expensive item on there is the Odin mount at £10~. All items sold there are cosmetic and don't give any players an advantage over others in buying them so i don't see a problem (although it's always a hot subject). In my opinion I'd rather they sell the items they do in the store for a bit more profit to improve the game than have to turn it into a "Free to Play" cash wall.
