Download DLSSTweaks, this tool unlocks DLAA in DLSS games. DLSSTweaks is a software update that enables certain DLSS games to utilize the upscaling algorithm to enhance image quality without upscaling. This technology can significantly improve the visual experience of games that are compatible with DLSS by providing sharper and clearer graphics.

DLSSTweaks introduces a feature that enables certain games that support DLSS (Deep Learning Super Sampling) to utilize the upscaling algorithm without upscaling. This helps enhance the game's image quality by leveraging DLSS technology without adding upscaling, resulting in a more visually appealing and immersive gaming experience.

It is worth noting that DLSS is a technology developed by Nvidia that uses machine learning to upscale lower resolution images to higher resolution output. This allows gamers to enjoy better image quality while maintaining higher frame rates. With DLSSTweaks 0.123.8, selected DLSS games can now benefit from the image quality improvements of DLSS, even if the game does not natively support the feature.

DLSSTweaks is a free utility program that can be used with compatible games.

The following games are expected to work with DLAA:

  • Dying Light 2
  • Shadow of the Tomb Raider
  • Judgment
  • Lost Judgment
  • Death Stranding
  • Cyberpunk 2077
  • Red Dead Redemption 2 (renamed to XInput9_1_0.dll)
  • Plague Tale Requiem
  • Chernobylite (UE4)
  • Ghostwire Tokyo (UE4)
  • God of War
  • Uncharted 4
  • Horizon Zero Dawn
  • Deathloop
  • Ready Or Not (UE4)
  • HITMAN 3
  • Nioh 2 (ForceAutoExposure can be used to fix the graphics issues it has with DLSS3.1)
  • FIST: Forged in Shadow Torch (UE4)
  • Metro Exodus Enhanced Edition

For the UE4 games mentioned above, it may be necessary to rename them to XInput1_3.dll or XInput9_1_0.dll to work. UE4 games usually have two executable files, one for launching the game and the other for the actual game, which should be placed next to the main game executable file, typically found in a Binaries folder.

Some of the games on this list may already have native DLAA support. For those that don't, DLSS3.1 presets can still be adjusted using DLSSTweaks.

There are some titles that may have issues with DLAA, such as Mortal Shell, Minecraft Bedrock Edition (DLAA causes the screen to be cut in half), and Crysis 3 Remastered. However, DLSS3.1 preset overrides may still work well in these games.

Change Info:
Changes: (0.123.8) added hooks for NVSDK_NGX_VULKAN functions, hopefully letting it work on vulkan titles (experimental, please let me know if you find a game that doesn't work with it!) (0.123.7) add ForceAutoExposure setting (0.123.6) initial release

I tried this on Stranger of Paradise yesterday and it resulted in a blank screen. Hopefully it works on most things.

Ah, yes, the one game that was a jaggy, shimmery ugly mess until the developers finally added DLSS support to the game which, if not entirely removing the issue, at least reduced it significantly so it was no longer a constant eye-sore while playing it. DLAA would be really nice to have in that game though so hopefully future updates will support it.

Yeah, it looks like a clown college's dumpster fire at native res. I don't know if it's a bug or what, but it takes more GPU resources to run it at DLSS Quality (which is supposedly running at 70% native res) than actual native res.

It also has to be one of the worst optimized games I've ever encountered; despite being hard locked to a 120 fps cap, I get frame drops/slowdowns due to it pushing my 4090 to 100% in some scenarios (smashing certain enemies into crystals), at UW1440p.
