This release note provides information on the latest posting of AMD's industry leading software suite, Catalyst®. The Catalyst® 6.12 for Windows XP Professional x64 Edition provides full driver support for platforms using either the AMD (Opteron, Athlon64) or the Intel EM64T architecture.

• Catalyst Control Center: Setting the language option to French for the Catalyst Control Center no longer results in the text found in Catalyst Control Center being cropped. This issue is known to occur under all supported operating system. Further details can be found in topic number 737-23716

Known Issues

The following section provides a summary of open issues in the latest version of Catalyst® for Windows XP Professional x64 Edition. These include:

• FAR CRY: Playing the game on a system running either the Windows XP Professional x64 Edition or Windows XP operating system may result in corruption being noticed when using an ATI Radeon® Xpress 1200 series of products. Further information can be found in topic number 737-23452

• Attempting to re-enable any display device other than the primary or secondary display device that has been disabled by CrossFire, may result in the operating system failing to respond. Further details can be found in topic number 737-21663
• Catalyst® Control Center: Creating a profile for Assigned Image Panel Settings and a second profile for Avivo Color aspects may result in the profiles not being applied when toggling between the two profiles.
