Samsung T1 Portable SSD review

We review the 7cm - 30 gram - Samsung T1 Portable SSD. It is the fastest portable storage to date on USB 3.0, combined with the DNA of an SSD it can reach 450 MB/sec on both reads and writes - making this a VERY fast storage unit. In fact this product houses the very latest 3D Vertical NAND. Our sample has been equipped with a 500 GB SSD and if you are on the move, this great looking device might just be what the doctor ordered.

Impressive indeed. I am in the market for large/fast USB 3.0 storage and this will fit the bill.

Cool drive. But that proprietary connection to the device (typical Samsung) makes it a never purchase for me.

It looks like a USB3 micro B to me.

pretty decent speeds for portable storage, Isn't as compact as the Corsair voyager gtx, but the price and storage size is appealing. thanks for the review!
