HP Portable P500 1TB Portable USB3 SSD review 5

We review the HP Portable P500 1TB Portable SSD. This portable storage USB3 based SSD is able to hit plenty fast enough read and write speeds, and the 1 TB model does that at a price offering of just 99 USD, sounds not bad, eh?

Well, consumer 1TB SATA SSD is some 80 Eur and USBC box is additional few Eur.
I think buying something like HP is not worth cause for same money we could make better one. Yes, it looks nicer but...
For 20 Eur more we could get M.2.

Just bought a 4500u laptop that has a 256gb nvme. But what it really has is my soon-to-be 256gb external nvme drive.

Tell me how do you survive with 256GB in laptop?
Ok if not for serious use.

I can't. I don't even think that's enough space for my light usage. That's why it's being replaced almost immediately. :D

I knew I'd swap it out when I bought it. The rest of the configuration, ease of opening the case bottom and price made it well worth spending a bit afterwards on a decent 1tb. Just waiting for a random deal. Pretty much any 1TB will do. It's already fast, just too small.
