In this review we check out the 4GB version of the Gigabyte G1 Gaming GeForce GTX 960. The GTX 960 is the mainstream product that we figured has too little memory, will this 4GB version resolve our concerns ? We do know that this card is among the most silent we have ever tested, it also has great looks including a proper back-plate. The G1 Gaming comes factory overclocked, has a WindForce X3 based cooler and is a great overclocker as well. Let's check it out, shall we?

Though graphs don't resemble anything like stuttering, to me, it really doesn't seem like the 2GB version is a whole lot worse considering the price difference. If I were to perform upgrades every other year and intended to use 1080p for a while, I think these GPUs would be fantastic.
I'm definitely interested in seeing SLi performance though. It's roughly half the performance for roughly half the price of a GTX 980. According to the graphs, the 980 isn't always double-performance, so I think a couple of 960s could be a very economical way to get roughly equal performance, especially since you don't have to pay for both at the same time.

Great review as usual, always a pleasure to read through them and see the gradual GPU ( and other hardware ) advancements. Small question though, I've noticed some reviews feature Dragon Age Inquisition as a performance baseline, while others ( like this one ) does not. How come?

Great review as always!
I was wondering if you could get your hands on 2 of those 960 4GB to try higher resolution where in theory memory matters more.
