Corsair Katar Elite Wireless mouse review
In this article, we review the Corsair Katar Elite Wireless mouse. It’s an optical gaming mouse that was launched today, on 26.10.2022. The Katar model is a new version of the Katar Pro Wireless that was introduced on October 2020. The Katar Elite Wireless is targeted at gamers, but it should also work more than fine as a regular mouse. This time, the optical sensor is not the 10K DPI PMW3325 but a 26K DPI Corsair Marksman. It has 1 DPI resolutions steps, 650 IPS tracking, and up to 50G acceleration.

Maybe because it's written so poorly that the kindest thing one can do is to skip past it.
As for 2000Hz, there are other mice in Corsair range with same specs (2000Hz wireless) and the polling rate has been confirmed fake - it's achieved by sending every signal twice. We'll have to wait for in-depth review to know for sure how it's done here, but it's most likely the same story.
Well, this article hasn't had any comments since it was released a few days ago!

Hmm, well I can't substantiate that, but if that's the case then this mouse is not what I thought it was. Either way I'd like to see more up to 4000Hz (configurable) mice on the market, and lightweight fingertip/claw grip style. That's what we need for high refresh monitors.

Well, this article hasn't had any comments since it was released a few days ago! I am a mouse fan, I'd like to see this mouse go up to 4000Hz report rate to minimise potential mouse stuttering in high Hz displays, but 2000Hz is a move in the right direction. I also like the light weight of this mouse and the fact that it's designed for claw & fingertip grip (the latter being up my street). I'd like to see some affordable 4000Hz (& lower configurable) lightweight small mice in the same vein as this one. Nice mouse I think.
