Am I the only thinking, that passing the 1000€ limit for only two components (cpu+mobo) is a quite unneeded and touching 1500€ wall is an illogical self destruction?

It's perfectly normal for professional users. You can easily sink thousands in IT equipment, as a business cost.
Now for hobbyist, it's only a matter of wanting to have the best and being able to afford it.
I myself am trying to resist the temptation of upgrading to the latest Ryzen 9, with ROG Crosshair Hero motherboard... I want it but I don't need it :D
