A mo
torbike racing game is a very rare thing for PC gamers and it's hard to find a good one. Beside THQ MotoGP series, other contenders where EA Sport Superbike series, Microsoft Motocross Madness series Micropose GP500 and Delphinesoft MotoRacer Series. When THQ released the first MotoGP for X-Box and PC last year, it really hooked me. With superb graphic/sound and gameplay. The only thing it lacked was a complete season track list. With this second release, this game is near perfect to let you enjoy being a real MotoGP rider in DornaSport MotoGP race. You’ll find everything from last years 2002 MotoGP season. That means all the real teams, bike manufacturers and track lists have been included.

You have to configure the game graphics and controllers option via the game launcher,
not when you’re already inside the game.

The first thing you have to do upon starting the game is create you own profile. Login using your profile gives you the ability to a play single player game or race with your friend in multiplayer mode. In single player mode you can choose to play in quick race, career mode, stunt mode or time trials. And in multiplayer mode you can choose between LAN (TCP/IP), internet (GameSpy support) and splitscreen. In quick race, you choose rider, (whether rider you create yourself or existing built-in-game rider that include all the real MotoGP rider such as Carlos Checa and Norrick Abe) select a track (including how many laps you want to race), difficulty setting and off you go. Theres only 3 tracks to start off and you have to unlock other tracks by winning a race in career mode.

Career mode is what this game is truly about. You compete in the full MotoGP season, that means all the 16 tracks around the world in order to obtain the world championship title. This is where you build up your character skills, via experience credits that you get from training challenges and race victories. Creating your character willallow you  to choose team name, your bike (6 manufacturers to choose from which is Aprilia, Honda, Kawasaki, Proton, Suzuki and Yamaha) design and color, your jacket leather design and color, edit your team logo, your initials (3 alphabet that appear on your character back), your bike number and your nationality. Picking your bike let you to choose from a 2 stroke 500cc or 4 stroke 990cc speed monster. The 2 stroke machine was easier to control especially during corner but lack max top speed (max speed about 310kmh) while the 4 stroke machine was faster (max speed around 330kmh), but harder to control. One of the new feature that I like was ability to edit your team logo which wasn’t available in the first MotoGP game.
