Shogun Mid-Tower, Tempered Glass ATX PC Chassis
With a modular design and tempered see-through glass

We review the new Shogun Midi-Tower PC Chassis from bitFenix today, a product series that is designed with style and features in mind. Next to that it also harbors some of the more innovative features that I have seen in a while. For example this chassis is AURA Sync compatible (ASUS), but also works fine without it of course. Next tpo that that is a lot customizable in the chassis, things you can move around and swap out. Also really funky to see are graphics card rests. You know how heavy graphics cards can be these days? Well, they tend to bend through a bit, and Bitfenix came up with a simple and clever solution to tackle that issie. Next to that the chassis offers a fairly tool free installation, offers much space, loads of room for cable-routing and yeah, it does look cool, VERY cool if I may say so.

You'll notice that the chassis has been fitted with tempered glass on both sides. And that does make this chassis look very special. That tempered glass is see through on the left side so you can observe your components, but to keep the style in line and the looks refined, the right side glass panel normally would show ugle cables at the backside, hence they coated it. It's these little intricate things that make this chassis stand out really.

This chassis can house mini-ITX, micro ATX, ATX and E-ATX (but not XL-ATX) motherboards and offer plenty of space to so your "thang". You can mount six SSDs at the backside as well as two on the frontside and six HDDs. At the front you will spot USB 3.0 connectors in addition to USB 3.0 (2x), USB 2.0 (2x) and 3.5 mm HD audio jacks. The Shogun comes pre-fitted with a left side SSD RGB LEDs to modernize the  build aesthetics. Extensive air and water cooling options are included, with support for even a 360mm radiator up to 60 mm thick in the front, and a 120 mm radiator at the rear. It's also equipped with a removable fan bracket in the front and has dust filters on all in-take fans which allows for easy building and maintenance.

Have a first look at the Shogun, and then head on-wards to the next page please. More fans can also be mounted in the base for additional cooling, air-cooled CPUs with tower heatsinks have a spacious 175 mm height to spare. Anyway, have a peek at the chassis, and yes, due to that lovely, yet reflective tempered glass, photos in this review are a bit of challenge, but we're sure you'll get the idea.
