We review the be quiet! Pure Base 600. The chassis in the Pure Base series is a more compact version that slightly resembles the Silent series chassis. A good looking, silent chassis, positioning itself in a more value segment. The product is an all dark chassis design that remains fairly tool free while offering decent space to work in while retaining quiet airflow and even liquid cooling options. The chassis will appeal to many and for some even more so with the return of the mac daddy; yes, it has two optical 5.25" bays (which is a hard thing to find these days). Depending on the model you choose, the chassis is made with a dark interior. Being an ATX tower chassis, the liquid cooling aficionados aren't left alone as radiator brackets are present as well as space for the smaller sized liquid cooling solutions. It is claimed that even a 360 rad would fit if you remove the 5.25" optical bays. 

The case has a steel base and measures 492x220x470 mm. You'll get a total of seven expansion slots and an up-to 210mm long power supply slot, two external 5.25-inch drive bay slots and 3 internal 3.5-inch bays slots (HDD cages) and two SSD mounts. The be quiet! Pure Base 600 also features a front I/O panel with two USB 3.0 ports, audio jacks (microphone/headphone). Motherboard wise the chassis can house ATX, Micro-ATX and mini-ITX motherboards.

Priced at €79 this chassis positions itself in a more mainstream range of PC housing. Maybe a little pricey for what it is though, but this chassis does come with sound dampening and good quality yet silent low RPM fans and an actual physical 3-step fan controller. The Pure Base 600 is certainly making a good impression. But hey, let's start-up the review, shall we?
