Announced a long time ago, the product has finally hit the market; yes, ROG Strix Helios has been an eye-catcher ever since it was announced. Spacious and fantastic looks can be achieved with it. A chassis designed for ease of use, fantastic cable management, good storage options, and downright terrific looks as the side and front panels have been fitted with tempered glass. Of course, you need to appreciate the ROG styling. I think it is fair to state that ASUS went far-out with this one, you will notice tempered glass to the left, right and top as well. Combined with a configurable RGB front panel logo you can tag any color design that suits you the best, as an RGB lighting controller is housed inside the chassis as well. Then the chassis interior; well, spacious and airflow are two things that come to mind next to a rather exquisite look, feel and design. 

Helios (/ˈhiːliɒs/; Ancient Greek: Ἥλιος Hēlios; Latinized as Helius; Ἠέλιος in Homeric Greek), in Ancient Greek religion and myth, is the god and personification of the Sun, often depicted in art with a radiant crown and driving a horse-drawn chariot through the sky.

This 18kg-weighing product is all about visuals with a lot of glass and very specific RGB ROG styling, as such, every segment has been designed to hide away the nasty stuff. Cable management on the right side was a challenge for one but, as you are about to find out, they solved that in a simple and effective manner by making use of plating design. ASUS also hides the HDD and SSD mounts there. Your power supply is nicely covered up there as well. You will spot many grommet holes with rubber inserts and an all-black interior, including dark cables and connectors. This mid-tower sized chassis can house mini-ITX, micro ATX, ATX but now E-ATX form factor motherboards as well. You may mount four SSDs at the back side and two HDDs (alternatively two SSDs) in the slide-in tray located at the motherboard side of the chassis. At the front, you will spot USB 3.1 Gen 1 (x4), USB 3.1 Type C Gen 2 (x1) and 3.5 mm HD audio jacks, as well as a fan controller. The Helios comes pre-fitted with 4x 140mm fans. Extensive air and water cooling options are included with room to mount up to three radiators – including one 420mm. It's also equipped with dust filters on all intake fans which allows for easy building and maintenance. Anyway, have a peek at the chassis, and yeah... due to that lovely, yet reflective tempered glass, photos in this review are a bit of a challenge, but we're sure you'll get the idea.
