ASUS O!Play minu Plus

ASUS recently released its new compact HD media player, it's called the O!Play Mini and this is the Plus edition, it packs integrated social network support, such as Facebook, YouTube, Dailymotion, Picasa, Flickr and Acetrax, the most popular online video on demand service in Europe. Not just that, the Asus O!Play Mini Plus also offers Internet TV channels and Internet radio stations via Gigabit Ethernet connections or 802.11 b/g/n WiFi.

One could nearly forget this is a media player really :)

There are many media players available in the stores, and for good reason. These handy devices can play pretty much any media format you grab from the web. Whether these are photos, music or media like movies. For anywhere in-between 100 to 200 EUR you can purchase a box that manages it all, some even with an HDD included.

Media Players as such have become a huge competing factor against even the most expensive HTPCs, dedicated to just that. These little critters just need a few Watts and a small investment money wise, to achieve some impressive stuff.

The O!Play Mini Plus TV Media Player allows you to play digital films, music and photos directly on your TV with High Definition quality (1080p).
