A-Data 6GB Triple Channel PC3-12800 C8 review

Posted by: Hilbert Hagedoorn on: 05/05/2009 02:00 PM [ 0 comment(s) ]
We mentioned this a couple of times already, but the memory market is fierce and competitive. All manufacturers are competing with each other on some level. Some go for the crown in high-end performance, others for the most low-budget memory one can sell, and then there's mainstream. Probably the biggest market out there. Especially with the release of Intel's Core i7 processors, a new battleground created itself. In the past weeks we tested many high-end kits in a triple channel configuration. A-Data recently released their DDR3-1600+ series memory. This review kit is in particular a 6GB kit triple channel memory kit that is rated PC3 12800 and comes with a nice CAS 8 latency and a price of just 21 USD per gigabyte. Read article

We test a 6GB DDR3 memory kit rated at 1600 MHz from the good people at G.Skill. A company that many of you don't even know, yet have been around for over 18-years. G.Skill is expanding into the European and US market though and their presence is becoming larger and more apparent quickly. Read article

Matrox TripleHead 2 Go Digital Edition (DVI) review

Posted by: Hilbert Hagedoorn on: 04/25/2008 02:00 PM [ 0 comment(s) ]
Exactly two years ago we reviewed the analog (VGA) Matrox Triplehead to go. And although a little rough around the edges when it came to graphics card support, times have changed for the better. In fact last year they released a digital (DVI interface) version of the product and we figured it was about time to check out how this small box of magic has developed, and we where pleasantly surprised I might add. GeForce 7800 GT Triple (SLI) Round Up

Posted by: Hilbert Hagedoorn on: 08/10/2005 07:00 AM [ 0 comment(s) ]
In today's article we will show you three GeForce 7800 GT cards plus their results in both single and SLI mode. The cards are a reference model from NVIDIA, one from eVGA and one from Point of View. The GTX is a raw 3D rendering beast, but it's an expensive beast for sure. The 7800 GT my friends is over 150 bucks cheaper at 449 USD making this one attractive buy. One rumor was wrong for sure though ... the 7800 GT is SLI compatible, that means you can upgrade and scale up that 3D rendering horse powered gaming rig of yours. Read article
