We test a new TeamGroup EX2 SSD series, the rather properly volume sized 1024 GB (1 TB), model which we will review. The series offers a  range of performing storage products, yet price-competitive at mainstream to high-end class SATA3 performance.

TeamGroup Cardea Ceramic C440 PCIe 4.0 NVMe review 4

Posted by: Hilbert Hagedoorn on: 08/18/2020 01:51 PM [ 3 comment(s) ]

Hold on tight as we shift into sixth gear with the TeamGroup Cardea Ceramic C440 PCIe Gen 4 x4 SSDNVMe. This bad boy reaches super fast transfer rates passing 5 GB/sec. Put it into a Ryzen 3000 / B550/X570 based PC, and witchcraft happens as you are operating at 4000 to 5000 MB/s for reads and writes, thanks to the new PCIe 4.0 interface and a bit of TLC with Phison, well Kioxia strictly speaking.

TeamGroup recently might have released a very fast PCIe 4.0 M.2 SSD, but do not rule out the new Z340 which promises to set a few records on the PCIe Gen 3.0 interface. Advertised at 3400 MBs and a 1665 TBW value it immediately draws our attention.

Team Group T-Force XTREEM ARGB DDR4 review 5

Posted by: Hilbert Hagedoorn on: 03/06/2020 10:35 AM [ 12 comment(s) ]

We review what I deem to be one of the nicest looking and fastest DDR4 memory kits ever. Meet the all-new XTREEM ARGB CL14 kit from Team Group. This T-Force 16GB (x2 8GB) memory is magic to your eyes, runs a very fast 3600 MHz, and has XMP 2.0 memory profiles compatible with both intel and Ryzen platforms as well. Not only is the memory stunning to see, but it also runs configured at CL14-15-15-35.

TeamGroup Cardea Zero Z440 PCIe 4.0 NVMe review 5

Posted by: Hilbert Hagedoorn on: 12/20/2019 12:08 PM [ 5 comment(s) ]

It's time to review some next-level M.2. NVMe SSD, we review the TeamGroup Cardea Zero Z440  PCIe Gen 4.0 SSD. It reaches the fastest transfer rates we have seen thus far at 5 GB/sec. Of course it is an SSD you can seat into any PCIe 3.0 compatible PC, however, if you place it into a Ryzen 3000 / X570 based PC, some magic happens as you are running 4000 to 5000 MB/s numbers and higher, thanks to the new PCIe 4.0 interface and a little TLC from Phison, well Toshiba strictly speaking.

TeamGroup MP32 M2 NVMe 480GB SSD Review 4

Posted by: Hilbert Hagedoorn on: 10/12/2018 06:35 AM [ 2 comment(s) ]

We review the TeamGroup MP32 256GB M2 NVMe SSD. With this Phison 5008-E8  ontroller based product and Toshiba NAND, the company releases an affordable M2 NVMe SSD. The performance is wat faster than your normal SATA3 SSD, but restricted by making use of just x2 lanes PCIe Gen 3.0. That does not mean this is a slow product though if you can settle for 1500 MB/s reads and 800 MB/sec writes, this might be a well worth SSD.
