Patriot Viper Venom DDR5 6200 CL40 review 4

Posted by: Krzysztof Hukalowicz on: 09/29/2022 02:04 PM [ 6 comment(s) ]

Patriot presented a new series of DDR5 memories in April; it’s the Viper Venom DDR5. Most kits come in 32 GB (2 x 16 GB), and their frequency is higher than the base 4800 MHz (5200-6400 MHz). We are checking the Patriot Viper Venom 6200 MHz CL40 DDR5 kit today. It’s the best model of the series.

Patriot Viper Steel RGB 3600 MHz (2x 16GB) review 5

Posted by: Krzysztof Hukalowicz on: 02/05/2021 05:07 PM [ 7 comment(s) ]

Today, we are looking at Patriot Viper Steel RGB 3600 MHz CL20 (yes – 20!) memory in a 32 GB set consisting of two 16 GB modules. I can say that we’ve had our fair share of experience with Patriot RAM. We had an opportunity to test a similarly clocked kit (3600 MHz) from the Viper Steel series (so no RGB there), but the capacity was 2 x 32 GB back then, and the latencies were quite surprisingly better, at 18-22-22-42. Before that, we also reviewed one of the fastest 2 x 8 GB kits in the range, clocked at 4000 MHz with CL19 latency.

Patriot Viper Steel 4000 MHz CL19 DDR4 review 4

Today we are reviewing Patriot Viper Steel DDR4 memory. This is a new variant of the Patriot Viper series, which quite surprisingly doesn’t have RGB support (unlike the Viper Gaming RGB kit that we checked out previously).

We review all-new Patriot Viper Gaming RGB 16 GB (dual channel) 3200 MHz DDR4 RAM kit from yes, you’ve guessed it right - Patriot. It’s not the fastest from this new series, but it's very reasonable with nice performance/price ratio.

We review the Patriot EP Pro SDHC UHS-1 32GB flash card. It's not your average SDHC storage card, this little fracker can read at 90 Mb/sec and write at 50 Mb/sec, making it amongst the fastest SDHC cards available on the market.

Patriot Pyro SE 240GB SSD review

Posted by: Hilbert Hagedoorn on: 12/15/2011 03:00 PM [ 0 comment(s) ]
Patriot wanted to release another SSD, something a little over the top and as such that meant releasing the Pyro SE SSD. While based on the SandForce 2281 controller Patriot did apply some tweaks to make the product even faster. To keep it up to snuff it comes with synchronous NAND flash memory. According to Patriot that will increase its sequential read and write performance to 550MB/s and 520MB/s. Read article

Patriot Memory recently released a USB stick, all 3.0 compatible and it's called the SuperSpeed Magnum. That surely hints towards a nice caliber. We test the 64GB version of this model, and their Magnum .. well it's the fastest and most l33t little fracker your money can get you with read performance of 200 MB per sec. Read article

Patriot Corza NAS review test 3

Posted by: Hilbert Hagedoorn on: 09/02/2009 02:00 PM [ 0 comment(s) ]
NAS units are often small, do not use a lot of power, are highly configurable, offer redundancy as some models even can handle RAID internally. Patriot just entered the NAS market with a simple affordable NAS unit called Corza. Their product supports two HDD's setups, RAID 0/1, USER and USERGROUP based access, FTP server, Hot swappable drives, really the most essential features a NAS unit should handle, yet priced really nice. When Guru3D reviewed the OCZ Vertex, we where flabbergasted, when we tested the G.Skill Falcon SSD, we where absolutely amazed. And today's product from Patriot memory is not at all different. Armed with a very sexy multi-channel Indilinx SSD controller and a nice fat 64MB cache we'll be looking at the Patriot Torqx 128GB SSD. A drive that has the latest revision firmware installed and when we bring it onto automotive terms .. an SSD with a lot of torque. Read article
