We review the new Cooler Master CM Storm Stryker full tower chassis. and if you think it looks familiar, well it's because it is. The product we'll review today is the CM Storm Stryker chassis aimed at you guys, the gamers. The product however has for 98% the DNA of the CM Storm Trooper, hence why you probably recognize it. Aside from the subtle hints towards Star Wars (Stryker/Trooper), there are distinct differences though. The new Stryker has a predominantly white look with black inserts, we see a side window, and the side panels have been shaped differently as well. Inside again everything is white with black touches.

Cooler Master Silencio 650 review

Posted by: Hilbert Hagedoorn on: 06/03/2012 02:00 PM [ 0 comment(s) ]

We review the Cooler Master Silencio 650. With silent PCs becoming more important Cooler Master started designing a new Silencio chassis that's totally up-to snuff with the 2012 standards, requirements and features -- and then some more as hey .. it's Cooler Master and they are know for creative ideas and solutions inside any chassis. As such the Silencio 650 as shown comes with cable routing, all black interior and an extra retaining hole, sound dampening materials but also a fan controller, and get this a dual boot HDD switch. Yep, you can now switch in-between two HDDs. We'll explain later though.

The 850W and 1000W versions are 80Plus Silver certified, while the other models stick to 80Plus Bronze. This is related to PSU efficiency, we'll explain that on the next page. Today we focus on the Kilowatt model priced at 169.90 EUR

Cooler Master CM 690 II Advanced Black and White review 4

Posted by: Hilbert Hagedoorn on: 02/09/2012 03:00 PM [ 0 comment(s) ]

Today we look at the new Cooler Master CM 690 II Advanced Black and White edition of the chassis. A new trend as of late is using a two tone colored chassis, black and white is a new trend. The new updated Advanced model has a few other tweaks as well, as next to the seductive black/white interior, additional capacity, superb cooling system and user-friendly design there is a new front panel as well, this time around with USB 3.0, of course.

Cooler Master Cosmos II review

Posted by: Hilbert Hagedoorn on: 01/02/2012 03:00 PM [ 0 comment(s) ]

We review the new Cooler Master Cosmos II. It is an Ultra tower, this chassis is 70cm in height -- almost 28". It has space for even the big XL-ATX motherboards, it comes with brushed aluminum side panels; unlock and swing them open like doors instead of panels. Yep, that Ultra vibe is already kicking in isn't it?

Cooler Master Silent Pro Hybrid 850 Watt PSU review 3

Posted by: Hilbert Hagedoorn on: 12/27/2011 03:00 PM [ 0 comment(s) ]

Cooler Master launched the new Cooler Master Silent Pro Hybrid PSU series. The end result ass such is enticing alright, a very nice power supply rates 80+ gold, that comes with a modular design and one big massive 12V rail, which we all like so very much. Carrying a 80+ Gold certification (90% efficiency at typical load) , being modular, with included fan controller and having good looks yeah the Silent Pro Hybrid promises to be an excellent product series.

Cooler Master Silencio 550 review 3

Posted by: Hilbert Hagedoorn on: 11/10/2011 03:00 PM [ 0 comment(s) ]
Cooler Master went back to the drawing table and improved the Silencio 550 as shown today with better cable routing, all black interior and an extra retaining hole. Obviously there are many ways to get the noise levels down with good cooling solutions and silent fans. But an overlooked part of the PC is the chassis itself. Read article

CoolerMaster Sentinel ZERO-G game mouse review 3

Posted by: Hilbert Hagedoorn on: 05/08/2011 02:00 PM [ 0 comment(s) ]

Cooler Master just released within the CM STORM line of products the Sentinel ZERO-G, an updated version of the last generation product, that TBH I still use. The Sentinel ZERO-G offers everything its older brother already has, but is tweaked, optimized and comes with a few surprises. We again spot the cute little OLED screen, adjustable weight system, superduper link braided 2M chord, and upgrade to 128kb of memory and yeah, it is just a really nice upgrade to what was previously launched.

Cooler Master Enforcer review

We take a peek at the CM Storm Enforcer, and as you might have guessed from the name, will be aimed at gamers. It will have its own USB 3.0 ports and a suitably complex outer design that is a little more in line with the fragmeisters amongst us. When you'll see the chassis the first time you'll notice resemblances to the CM HAF series, mixes it with features of the 690 II while featuring its own unique exterior design. Read article

Cooler Master V6 GT review

We test and review the Cooler Master V6 GT CPU cooler. This all new model comes with two fans and an advanced heatpipe design. Next to that, Cooler Master implemented a V-shaped heatpipe array and asymmetrical aluminum fins (which are densely stacked for optimal cooling). The V6 GT design provides 200W of cooling power, which should be enough for even the most enthusiastic PC lovahs, and definitely interesting to the Guru3D crowd. Read article

Cooler Master Storm Inferno mouse review 3

We test and review the CM Storm Inferno mouse. A mouse obviously targeted at gamers, but Cooler Master diversified and refined it even a little more as it is a mouse targeted at MMO's. This gaming peripheral features a total of 11 buttons, nine of which are actually programmable, 128kb onboard memory, a Rapid Fire Tactical key and a Storm Tactics Multiplier key that gives access to 32 extra programmable outputs for macros, scripts and other unique commands. Cooler Master HAF-X review

Posted by: Hilbert Hagedoorn on: 06/27/2010 02:00 PM [ 0 comment(s) ]

We test and review the HAF-X from Cooler Master. The HAF X rears its head marketed as the most powerful HAF (High Air Flow) chassis to date. An enthusiast targeted chassis that will keep your expensive components cooled down well, with a very user-friendly but extremely aesthetically pleasing design. To date each HAF and any HAF series chassis has proven to be extremely gratifying, has rugged looks and offers plenty of space for your hardware. This new model is even compatible with USB 3.0 devices. You'll notice in the review that the chassis comes with dedicated support and cooling for graphic cards, excellent airflow with the help of up to four gargantuan fans.

Phenom II X4 Overclocking Master class 5

Posted by: Hilbert Hagedoorn on: 03/28/2010 02:00 PM [ 0 comment(s) ]
The professional overclocker's scene, and it's a demographic that Guru3D will be following more closely. It's the extreme side of overclocking, yes the guys that use extravagant cooling methods to lift the core frequency to way higher levels. And today we'll be doing exactly that. We'll have our tame race driver 'OldScarface', a Dutch overclocker, tryout the latest revision of the Phenom II 965BE -- the latest stepping with a lower TDP. The objective is to pass 5 or maybe even 6 GHz on this processor. To do so, all he'll need is a couple of liters of Liquid Nitrogen, the right equipment and time... lots of time. Read article

Cooler Master CM 690 II Advanced review

Here we test the CM 690 II Advanced Case. The new version enhances the original CM 690 striking features with a seductive all-black interior, additional capacity, superb cooling system and user-friendly design. And though looks can deceive, the Cooler Master CM 690 II indeed does very similar to the original, make no mistake internally there have been a good number of changes. The original CM 690 was the building block of something better and they improved on it.

Cooler Master HAF 922 review

Posted by: Hilbert Hagedoorn on: 11/12/2009 03:00 PM [ 0 comment(s) ]
The HAF 922 with it's near identical name and setup resembles a lot to it's bigger brother the HAF 932. The 922 however is a mid-tower while the 932 is a full tower. Don't expect the 922 to be a "dried up" version of the 932 though; it actually offers some improvements, especially when it comes to cable management. The HAF 922 is a good blend of a nice design, yet comes with pretty wicked yet silent cooling and then all the little extra's like decent cable management, removable drive trays for your HDDs, tool less insertion of say a DVD-RW drive and what we like to see very much, something as simple as an opening in the motherboard back tray so you can swap out a CPU cooer backplate without the need of an invasive procedure to remove the entire motherboard. It's what Cooler Master does well, the HAF meets the requirements in ease of use and design at an affordable price. Read article

Cooler Master LAB test bench v1.0 review 3

Posted by: Hilbert Hagedoorn on: 10/25/2009 03:00 PM [ 0 comment(s) ]
Cooler Master designed the Cooler Master LAB Test Bench v1.0. It's what has been missing here at the lab alright, a nice looking, easy to use chassis where we can pop on and off hardware components, it makes motherboard, cooler and RAM testing really easy. And as simple as this product is, we really like it. And rest assured we'll be using it with pretty much any future motherboard review. It's not a suitable product for everybody, but if it applies to you we can wholeheartedly recommend it. Read article

Yes, it's finally available on the market. Cooler Master have launched their Sentinel Advance mouse, yeah the one with the cute little OLED screen inside. It's funky, it's new, it's slightly refreshing. The coolest thing has to be the fact that Cooler Master integrated a little OLED screen inside the mouse... and that certainly is a first. So without further ado, let's fire up this review and check out what CoolerMaster has in store for us with the Sentinel Advance mouse.

Cooler Master Hyper 212 plus review

Posted by: Hilbert Hagedoorn on: 05/24/2009 02:00 PM [ 0 comment(s) ]

Today another new cooler sees the light, Well new ... It's actually the Hyper 212 cooler we reviewed a long time ago that is being updated. The updated 212 is now called the Hyper 212 Plus and it will be Cooler Master’s first of many LGA1156 and LGA1156/1366 compatible coolers to come. Again we spot DHT as in Direct contact heat-pipes, dual fan cooling options and new PWM fans are now included into this cooler design. Overall, it has become a new cooler completely, but is it any good ?
