G.Skill, a Taipei-based company, is a household name in the tech industry. They have established a reputation for producing high-quality DDR memory, but they also offer a diverse range of products including AIOs such as the Enki 360, stylish chassis like the Z5i, sleek keyboards like the KM360, and various other peripherals. However, their crown jewel is the DDR5 RAM, of which the Trident Z5 RGB series is a prime example. With frequencies reaching up to 8000 MHz, this series stands as the top tier in G.Skill's offerings.

Today, we are checking the G.Skill TridentZ Royal Elite 3600 MHz CL14. This is another addition to the TridentZ family. Previously (at the end of 2018), we’ve reviewed the Royal 3200 MHz 2 x 8 GB edition, then after almost two years -> Royal 4000 CL17 4 x 8 GB version. The Royal Elite has been introduced in mid-April this year, and the CL14 variants at the beginning of June.

We review what can be considered some very beautiful DDR4 memory intended for the Ryzen platform, of course from G.Skill. It's available in multiple frequencies and timings, we test the 3600 MHz kit. With XMP 2.0 memory profiles on Intel platforms as well as support for AMD Ryzen, we check a memory type that sets and defines a standard in style and design.

G.Skill RipJaws SR910 7.1 channel headset review 4

Posted by: Hilbert Hagedoorn on: 11/10/2015 10:37 AM [ 10 comment(s) ]

We review the RipJaws SR910 USB headset from G.Skill, this gaming headset offers 7.1 channel audio with the help of not two, no 10 drivers. Yep five in each ear-cup. The headset is aimed at gamers who like precision audio, so that when they get sniped .. they will actually hear the bullet coming from behind them. Well, at least the rifle firing I guess. The SR910 comes with retractable boom MIC (environmental noise cancelling) and even an USB control pod which you can use to alter each and every audio channel. Armed with nice looks, proper audio quality this head set can be purchased for just 139 USD.

GSkill Falcon 128GB SSD review

Posted by: Hilbert Hagedoorn on: 05/21/2009 02:00 PM [ 0 comment(s) ]
G.Skill has a product here that they should be very proud off, as they made a touch choice, they also are moving towards the all new Indilinx Barefoot controller inside that SSD drive. As such they can fight off the small-block size issues plaguing SSDs based on the JMicron controllers. This product as that phat 64MB cache inside the falcon to deal with it, and combined with Samsung NAND flash modules we reach over 250 MB/sec read speeds and get this, 190 MB/sec write speeds. GSkill Titan 128GB SSD review

Posted by: Hilbert Hagedoorn on: 04/12/2009 02:00 PM [ 0 comment(s) ]
We take the G.Skill 128 GB Titan SSD for a spin. A SATA-II 2.5" drive with a reasonable pricetag for SSD standards. It offers 200 MB/sec read and 160 MB/sec write speeds. Over the next few pages we'll take you into the review, tell a thing or two about the technology and obviously test the product to see where it stands out in performance compared to other SSD and HDD drives.
