Enermax Fulmo GT review 3

Posted by: Hilbert Hagedoorn on: 01/14/2013 09:34 AM [ 0 comment(s) ]

We review and test the Fulmo GT. Enermax has been going very strong with their power supply and fans. For a while now they also offer PC cases, and more recently they released what seems to be the biggest chassis I've ever laid my hands on. This chassis series has HPTX support for the bigger than biggest motherboards and some pretty cool features as well.

Enermax KW001 Briskie Keyboard mouse combo review 3

Posted by: Hilbert Hagedoorn on: 04/11/2012 01:00 PM [ 0 comment(s) ]

Keyboard kits come in all sizes, shapes and forms .. and that's next to a gazillion of manufacturers that offers them. Surprisingly enough a few weeks ago Enermax, the guys behind the best power supplies and the brightest fans also launched a keyboard/mouse combo. Briskie is all about value and as such for 25 USD/EUR you get a mouse and what we think is a very decent wireless RF keyboard.

Enermax Platimax 850W power supply review

Posted by: Hilbert Hagedoorn on: 09/20/2011 01:00 PM [ 0 comment(s) ]
Enermax always is able surprise us, they now have released the Platimax power supplies, that means a platinum certification and yeah .. that boils down to a 94% efficient product. Very few products get this certification. Today we'll grab a couple of older older supplies and see if what they claim is true, can we really save on energy. We fire off three PSU's at a P55 / Core i7 870 based system setup with a GeForce GTX 590. We then monitor power consumption in idle, CPU productivity (stress) mode and then lock into a gaming session. Read article

Enermax MaxRevo 1350W PSU review

Posted by: Hilbert Hagedoorn on: 09/04/2011 01:00 PM [ 0 comment(s) ]

The MaxRevo is 1350 Watt .. with peak power available up-to 1620 Watt, yummie. Interestingly enough this is a nice small sized power supply, you'll hardly hear it, has plenty of modular options, wwell read is all modular and is 80 PLUS Gold certified. That makes the modular cables based MaxRevo PSU series 88-94% efficient @ 20-100% load.

Enermax Modu82+ II 625W PSU review

Posted by: Hilbert Hagedoorn on: 03/06/2011 02:00 PM [ 0 comment(s) ]
Today we'll have a look at one of Enermax's latest power supplies. It is the all new Modu82+II 625 Watt power supply that comes with an 80+ Bronze certification. New in the revised Modu82+ II (and Pro82+ II) series is that they support the new EU regulation ErP Lot 6 for PC systems. This norm regulates the standby consumption of systems, which affects PSU and mainboard. Oh and it's also n 625W PSU that can actually peak towards 690W, this is labeled mid-range by Enermax. Enermax Revolution 85+ 1020W PSU review

Posted by: Hilbert Hagedoorn on: 10/05/2010 01:00 PM [ 0 comment(s) ]

We review and test the Enermax Revolution 85+ 1020W PSU. A near perfect power supply, Enermax recently released the Revolution 85+ series, this BEAST as I like to call it has everything I just mentioned. Modular cables, it's silent, sturdy, rugged and at 220 Volts this puppy can achieve a power efficiency of 87 to 91 percent, and that is just very noteworthy.

We'll have a look at one of Enermax's latest 'gourmet' power supplies. It is the all new Modu87+ 600 Watt power supply. Will we be impressed by this 80+ Gold certified modular power supply that should bring us 90 percent efficiency? Read article

Enermax Revolution 85+ 850W review

Posted by: Hilbert Hagedoorn on: 11/01/2009 02:00 PM [ 0 comment(s) ]

It certainly has been a while since we reviewed Enermax products, if memory serves me right the last Enermax PSU that we had in queue was the Galaxy Kilowatt DXX power supply. At the time (and still) considered a top notch product. We where exhilarated by it and I know for sure that our review cascaded an effect -- as a lot of our forum visitors actually purchased that Galaxy series of power supplies, which they still use and are happy with. Times change and there is always room for improvement, Enermax started rolling our the Revolution series of power supplies. A highly stylish, highly efficient and modular power supply that is quiet as well.

Enermax Infiniti 650W PSU review

Posted by: Hilbert Hagedoorn on: 07/20/2007 01:00 PM [ 0 comment(s) ]
We here at Guru3D.com we believe these little masters of distribution are a key element in your PC. Ask yourself, what do you need if you build a high-end PC with for example demanding graphics cards? What do you do when a system is getting unstable? What is very important if you overclock a PC? I could go on for a while easily, but the generic answer always is the PSU. One of the most underestimated peripherals in the PC. Today we'll gawp (for a change) not at a KiloWatt PSU, yet we can lower the price a little. Granted, it's still a high-end PSU that will still cost a good amount of money. It's the all new Enermax Infinity 650 Watt. And Kilowatt or not, we'll still throw everything at the PC that we can humanly, possibly do to get it unstable with a high wattage load to see if we can break it. I hope one day we'll succeed. :) Read article

Enermax Galaxy 1000 Watt DXX PSU

Posted by: Hilbert Hagedoorn on: 05/05/2007 01:00 PM [ 0 comment(s) ]
This year you'll start seeing something new on PCs .. an 8-pin power connector. Crazy you say ? Well what if I told you that an unnamed graphics card has both a 6-pin and 8-pin (convertible 6+2p (6/8p)) power connector. See the PCI-Express bus can deliver 75 Watts. A 6-pin power connector .. again 75 Watts. The new 8-pin connector ... 150 Watts. Do the math ... 300 Watts per graphics card is slowly becoming accepted in the market. And we haven't even mentioned Crossfire or SLI here. Crazy ? Yes .. but it's the reality and luckily for the high-end freaks there are power supplies that can manage that power-draw extremely well. The Enermax Galaxy 1000 Watt PSU is such a device, and now is updated towards version DXX (EGX1000EWL). Read article

Enermax Galaxy 1000 Watt PSU

Now quite frankly I don't like where we are heading, power consumption of PC's is really getting out of hand. We need to start thinking about mother nature a little as next to our power bills .. this can't be healthy. Luckily we see a strong movement in the processor industry where we start to see performance to watt ratio's. Power consumption is getting more and more awareness. With that in mind today our first ever 1000 Watt power supply is being published. Read article

It carries the label "Liberty" and this model comes with a fantastic 620 Watt rating. It's a high-end PSU which is ready for SLI and Crossfire as it has dual 12 volts rails with high ampage, active PFC, silent fan and dual-core CPU ready. We'll explain all that to you over the next pages though. This Liberty PSU is manufactured by Enermax and is model ELT620AWT. Read article
