Nice card except for that backplate.
..it would just have to come off for a plain black or gunmetal grey paint spray before I'd let it go in my system.

Hi Hilbert
im just wondered for which reason the result achieved by other custom 1080 crads guru3d has been reviewed in past is not included in this review and only compared to reference cards?
more interestly why this is not true about other custom 1080s?
im curiously waiting four your response.
best regards.

JustinBulty - > Updated data-sets with another driver made new benchmarks and the older results slightly invalidated. Also I might be stepping away from the cross-brand benchmarks. The outcome looks very cluttered/busy in the charts. This looks much clearer and cleaner. Still playing with that btw as I know you guys like to compare apples and oranges and then apples again
.
fantaskarsef -> as written on the first benchmark page, this product was actually tested before Titan X was tested - here again, it's a different data-set. Basically due to the incredible amount of GPU reviews the benchmarks for this product had been done, yet I decided to push back this review in favor of the 460 / 470 / Titan X reviews. This is the result of a 2 week time-lapse lol.
From here onward all reviews will have RX460/470 included as well as the entire Pascal range based on the newer drivers and a separated Vulkan data-set with ASYNC compute results.

thank you Hilbert for another great review
, man this is one big card, and thanks for the other gurus for there questions, same ones i wanted to ask while reading through the article
, great minds think alike
and thank you for replying so fast AS ALWAYS.
i trully could not wait to get to the overclocking thinking..man with such HUGE cooler this card is going to rock, but then again thanks to Nvidia limiters
ALL AIBs are performing almost identically.
guess Hilberts concluding sum it all.

Thanks for the review HH!
Just a question, is there any reason in particular why the TitanX Pascal wasn't included in the comparison charts?
