*May not reflect all publicly available security updates*
- means that chip is still in need of some
- means that results are to be adjusted for all those people who actually have them applied since they do not mess with system patches
- Very likely uses DDR5 and they stated that configurations differ (higher memory clock/bandwidth?)
I could bet that they tested "older" chip with memory running at supported frequency. Which even for i9-9900K is 2666MHz.
It'd be nice if intel actually improved their architecture for once in the last 5-6 years, but even if it is true, it's not coming to desktop for a couple years yet.

https://wccftech.com/intel-10nm-ice-lake-sunny-cove-14nm-comet-lake-amd-ryzen-3000-cpu-z-benchmark-leak/ is this fake???
Looks pretty fake to me, slide says 18% IPC improvement but then they say it's faster than a 9700K at 5.3GHz which is 43% typically when they announce a specific IPC increase that's the best case scenario although instructions like AVX could improve by that much. Although it's not due to late 2020 thus i would be surprised if they have a working sample let alone CPU-Z even detecting what the hell it is besides the CPU string. Then theres the Ryzen 3xxx CPU's which have higher clock speeds than their max turbo.
