Shuttle DS57U review

Shuttle has jumped on the Mini (HT)PC market with their new and quite funky looking DS57U . In its bare essence this pretty much a tiny fanless PC that is armed with an Intel Celeron 3205U Processor clocked at 1.50GHz and then combined with a decent chipset this puppy offers USB 3.0 ports, MSata and 2.5" SSD support as well as WiFi and two Gigabit LAN jacks. Not bad for a product that doesn't have any active fans right?

How many SATA ports?
How many SATA ports?
SATA 6 Gbps performance
Intel offers a grand total of SATA3 (6Gbps) ports with the embedded chipset, and we think that is just excellent. Below we show SATA3 6 Gbps (AHCI mode) performance with a SATA3 SSD.

This might be worth replacing my ION2 setup with.
That thing runs on the hot side even while just streaming 1080p.
Granted its 6+ years old tech now.
