Nice one. in my location the 770 is one par with 280X, so i would take the 770 easily.

Just one note about the soundcards, DON'T BUY PHOEBUS. i had it, drivers are stable but terrible, support is non exist, the interface and function are not that good.

Sound blaster Z,ZXR or STX STX II are way better than phoebus.

easily?

you would easily pay an extra $75 or 125$ if you buy a 770 which has more than 2GB of memory (the 280X has 3GB minimum) for this

it may be your preference, but I wouldn't call giving an extra $ for a practically equivalent card an "easy choice".

Hah, got to love comments like this. Why would you take a card that have 2GB and more or less same performance as 280X?

Sometimes i really don't understand you.

Yeah I'd easily take the 280x over the 770.

Man great minds think alike. I have chosen similar parts to what Hilbert has chosen in this buyers guide. Like the CPU and cooler on the hardcore page,The SSD on the hardcore page, and The Graphics card on the Main Stream page. I am looking at 2133 8gb memory chips rather than 4gb.
