NZXT Kraken X40 review

NZXT recently unleashed the Kraken X40 liquid cooler, we test and review it. The Kraken X40 is a 140mm radiator based LCS unit that offers pretty solid performance numbers as you are about to find out. Combined with a cooling infrastructure provided by Asetek this all-in-one and easy to install kit can even be connected towards your PC through USB, where you can monitor and regulate the LCS unit and apply presets to make the LCS unit either silent, or high performance.

Dear Hilbert, could it be possible to add in future LCS reviews Push/Pull configuration results too?
They are supposed to get more performance out of the units, I've seen that fact in other sites reviews, but I want the info comming from a respectable site like guru3d.
Greetings and thanks.

Ah compared to Corsair. Well, the results are what they are, NZXT is far more aggressive in airflow overall + I find the 140mm and 280mm products to be overall better then the 120/240 ones.
Indeed I was referring to the H100i Hilb .. X40's(140mm) 39DBa vs H100i's(240mm) 43DBa with about the same perf.! Dang!

+1 I though about it also when I read the review. I thought he would test the X40 at least, in push-pull config.
But that might make the difference from X60 even less and that will not look good for the X60. That would be bad press/marketing for the X60.
