We review the all-new Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080 (Founders Edition). The new 8 GB beast based on the Pascal architecture and 16 nm FinFET has arrived. It's cool, it's silent and it rocks hard when it comes to sheer performance.

Hitman/W3 numbers are impressive. 2 should be fine for 4K.
my 3-way 980 was JUST enough for 4k.
Almost twice as fast as 980 in GTA V.

You could probley pick up a 6 gig second titan for half that price these days.

I would have to score a pretty sweet deal to get one of these, but anyone with a 970 or lower would easily get a nice upgrade with one of these.
Almost 100% increase across the board over my 970 (Which is struggling at 1440p/60 FPS let alone the 144 I'd like for my 144hz monitor). So I still plan on getting one when available.

Most boring change of node ever, and for $800 (after exchange rates and taxes) I´d demand more than a 25% improvement over the latest full chip and more than console amounts of memory... I mean seriously 800?, it´s not even the real deal Pascal and not built from the ground up as a DX12 chip either... people should get a discount.

The dynamic load balancing looks really interesting. Still trying to get through the rest. PcPer is getting hit hard too.
