Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080 review 5

We review the all-new Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080 (Founders Edition). The new 8 GB beast based on the Pascal architecture and 16 nm FinFET has arrived. It's cool, it's silent and it rocks hard when it comes to sheer performance.

Well, seems like quite the monster - unarguably.

700€ for a 80°C beast leave somewhat of a bitter taste, though.

Nvidia, NotLikeThis.

I assume that the Founder's additional $100 will be the baseline for board partners, as they're likely gonna stomp the reference design into the ground. Then there's 'big pascal', quite a few months away, of course, but potentially crapping all over the 1070/1080 again.

I don't expect this card, insofar available to begin with, to drop anytime soon in price.

Yeah the site is being hammered, 800% increase in traffic. This'll take a few minutes to resolve.

Woo somehow read it. :D

It like it, but I don't like it enough to replace my Titan X just yet.

Hands down it's a powerhouse. No doubt about that.

Power draw is down a considerable amount, that's awesome too!

Performance is great, but not a significant amount over what I have now.

I would have to score a pretty sweet deal to get one of these, but anyone with a 970 or lower would easily get a nice upgrade with one of these.
