NVIDIA recently announced GSync, a technology that is named to be a game changer, we have an exclusive preview for you today. Yes G-Sync eliminates the problems that come with VSYNC both on and off. Meaning no more Sync stuttering and that dreaded demon of them all, Screen tearing. G-Sync basically is a technology made compatible with a G-Sync module and software. And that symbiosis honestly is a touch of magic. Well, we'll explain it all in this article as we have gotten our hands on an ASUS G-SYNC monitor.

I was very interested - that was, until I saw the price.

I'm getting a little annoyed at Nvidia, honestly, as if they can, they'll charge a huge premium for as long as possible, so G-Sync will never be cheap unless AMD come out with their own similar tech.

I also think Mantle could be an awesome change for PC Gaming - but, I bet Nvidia will never use it - even though they could and should. I seriously hope they don't come out with their own.

Anyway, for that price, you'd have to be barking mad.

How much for a 24" 1080p panel? Jokes.

And TN panel...

I agree with AvengerUK....youd truly off to be off your rocker to purchase one of these panels anywhere close to 600$...you can buy a gorgeous 1440p panel for half that price....

1440p 60-120hz > 1080p Gsync lol

Great for those who own a 60Hz monitor or experience screen tearing.

But what if you don't fit into the above categories - Gsync is of little to no benefit...hence why imo it's overhyped and way too expensive.

And TN panel...

Oh, I had TN there as well, must have deleted it by mistake. I would think gsync is cool, but it would have to be a 27" 1440p ips/pls 120hz panel. that would cost a £1000+. I'll stick to my Qnix at 120hz 1440p, PLS goodness. at 110+hz you really don't struggle with tearing any more.
