Damn, this card looks sooo much better than mine. This is what I love about the latest mobos, most of them look badass.

It looks as if I'm in the minority here.
At 1st glance, then a closer look at this board, it appears quite cheap and toy-like with the overabundance of plastic shielding & Ferrari knock-off South Bridge badge.
I skipped the Z87 series as I was kitting out and building my Rampage IV Black system and figured I'd wait on the Z97 redux.
While I'm certainly not disappointed in what the manufacturers did with this new chipset, it still isn't exactly what I want.
The PCI-E X8/X8 for SLi was bad enough, but throw in the Killer NIC and I wouldn't have this MSI board on a bet. That's on top of it reminding me of a cheap and disposable BIC lighter.
Now, even after all that the Z97 boards have actually brought to the table, I'm skipping it as well and will just wait for, hopefully, an ASUS ROG Rampage V and X99 Express.
With all the bells and whistles that have been added to the Z97 boards, I can't even imagine how much more will come with the X99 boards.
