Introduction

MSI Vigor GK50 Low Profile TKL keyboard
A clicky and vigor(ous) TKL masterpiece?

The MSI Vigor GK50 Low Profile TKL keyboard is the one we’re reviewing today. Another week, another MSI keyboard (previously, it was the Vigor GK71 Sonic). This time around, a TKL version of the model has been available for some time on the market. The GK50 Low Profile is the name of it. So what are the differences here? As you’d probably know by yourself, mainly it’s the lack of the numeric part of the keyboard. Tenkeyless form factor provides a wider and larger space for your mouse swipes for the ideal gaming setup. The MSI Vigor GK50 Low Profile TKL is equipped with Kailh Low Profile mechanical switches, with feedback of 50gf clicky keystroke. The low-profile design offers a speedy response and accuracy you expect to game on. Moderate travel distance and operating point bring the precision you expect from VIGOR GK50 LOW PROFILE TKL.

What’s more? With the compact TKL design, which means it’s without number keys from the full-size layout, the tenkeyless form factor provides a wider and larger space for your mouse swipes for the ideal gaming setup. The ergonomic high-low keycap design keeps your finger, hands, and wrists in a natural position that reduces strain and pain while typing or gaming for a long period.

The vivid and per-key RGB illumination is customized with MSI Mystic Light software or the shortcuts on the keyboard itself. You also get the N-Keys Rollover and full keys Anti-Ghosting features. You get the scratch-resistant breathable drawstring bag that provides easy storage and effortless on-the-go travel. The two keyboard feet allow you to set your keyboard at three different tilt angles (5°, 8°, or 11°), creating a comfortable wrist position for any gaming session.

The Vigor GK50 Low Profile TKL uses a solid and sturdy metal top frame. Thanks to its compact design (due to the nature of the TKL type of keyboards), you will save space on your desk. The keycaps are made of ABS. The PBT would bring more durability, that’s for sure, but it’s very rarely spotted in the competition offers in this budget. The provided braided USB cable is detachable and is 1.8 m long. The keyboard is priced at 84.99 USD. Let’s check the MSI Vigor GK50 Low Profile TKL on the following pages.
