There's a new AMD flagship in town, the MSI Radeon RX 6950 XT Gaming X TRIO is blazingly fast. As AMD refreshes its rDNA 2 graphics card portfolio with a new family of cards in 2022, this card series now comes with 18 Gbps memory and even faster clock frequencies.

What if 7600xt costs 479$ and its fast as 6900xt? Then you can bang you head against the wall.

It would be nice to return to how the market used to work. It doesn't seem likely if this refresh is any indicator of what's to come.

BLEH!

Price/performance and power/performance look pretty decent! Assuming you can get one at MSRP (and I won't be paying a penny more!)

If these cards were the same price my 5700 XT came in at, around 480€ - I'd be fine with it. Just ... they start around 55% more expensive. That's not too good :| I guess the 5700 XT was also a bit more expensive at launch, but well, not this expensive I don't think.

And I just checked! A 5700 (non-xt) went for 390€ here just 2,5 years ago! Now? 740€! And up untill just a month ago it was 1340€!

Guess I should've sold my 5700 XT when they were going for 675€ used... would've been a easy 55€ to get a 6700 XT or 3070Ti. (which I'd probably get instead at this point in time).

But, I'll just wait till we get a new gen. And then some :p

The 5700xt was not a top end card, merely the highest 5xxx card AMD made.
There is no comparison to a 6950xt.
