Beats the 970, looks like Nvidia will have to cut the 970 prices to $200 or less. Guess its time for me to upgrade soon.

Its on pair with 970 for 170$, thats not bad at all. I dont see point of 8GB tho, 4GB is enough for 470 meaning its suited for 1080p only.
Vulcan tests is also interesting where it beats even 1060 which 100$ more.

Some games are becoming VRAM hogs even at 1920x1080. Its a great price, but I don't see Nvidia cutting 970 prices as that card is EOL. Now retailers may cut prices to move stock.

So with this card I think AMD just cannibalized their own 480. When overclocked it's faster than the 480 and OC v OC would be very close. All while using less power. This is the AMD card to get right here folks.
