MSI GeForce RTX 3080 Ti SUPRIM X review

In this review we test the MSI GeForce RTX 3080 Ti SUPRIM X, yes this is a factory tweaked 3080 Ti that brings in an additional 5% extra performance, whilst merged with a custom PCB and cooling design. It's a graphics card series that stays close to 3090 performance levels.

when i buy Nvidia i usually go with MSI, at least after 980 but before that i got EVGA
but this particular card isn't what i'm looking for. i'm very interested in the 3070ti.
i typically slap a block on it so the cost of the block and (extra) rad on this card would be like a mortgage payment if not worse for some. i think the fun of tweaking performance and extending a loop has been really been a drag if not lost with the cost and availability issues. i usually build out two or three systems for family a year but with covid and all the knock-on crap, but ended up getting two PS5 for xmas/b-day. which was like committing a sin for me.

I have been really satisfied with the cooling of my 3090 MSI.
Also the good board quality allows me to play around with BIOS from various manufacturer to get a bit more out of the card (EVGA BIOS with increased power target), or even using the Suprim product line BIOS on non-suprim cards.
