We review and benchmark the RTX 3070 from a board partner, yes MSI is back on track with their much-anticipated GeForce RTX 3070 in the revision GAMING X TRIO. Loaded with 5888 shader cores is has the means to game even a bit intoxicating.

Looks like a great card, shame nobody can actually buy it anywhere.

Been available in retail for a few hours for almost $700 excluding taxes.

Got my preorder in with Scan for £551.48 inc postage, funny thing is....shortly after i got my preorder in the perorder button disappeared....so pretty lucky.

I've been extremely please with the cooling of the 3090 gaming x trio. Looks like this card does indeed equal or outperform the 2080-ti across the board.
From the pricing i see in my stores, cards are mostly 150-250 euros beyond MSRP and dangerously close to 3080 MSRP which would make no sense.

Good News: It appears that our friends at NVIDIA are now actively going after the full demise of the once mighty $1,200+ RTX 2080ti. It was noted that the ($499 base) RTX 3070 is equipped with more (and faster) CUDA cores than the older 2080ti, and NVIDIA extensively now pushing the RTX 3070 as being faster than the 2080ti, at much more than half its original price. When averaged over a whole test suite at 1440p the RTX 3070 Founders Edition beat the RTX 2080ti. The RTX 3070 is capable of not just maxed-out 1440p gaming with RTX-on, but also 4K UHD gaming. This is very good news for the man on the street and with virtually no appreciable spendable income. Meaning my dream will finally come true and to actually owning a used 2080ti at bargain basement prices soon to come to this theater. $200 for a used 2080ti seems well within the ballpark and fully supports 'logical reasoning' given the latest and new generation RTX 3070 benchmarks and again its smashing low MSRP. But this spelling bad news for present RTX 2O80 series 'enthusiasts' now stuck with the unfortunate decision when to sell, upgrade and rush-in while the selling is still good? Meanwhile however I will be 'chucking along' on my hobbled-together ($250) Dell XPS 730x H2C. Still playing 2009 Wolfenstein. Just perhaps my used 2080ti train along with 'Metro Exodus' will arrive around early 2021 so that I can greet the Aurora crew at Novosibirsk station in maximum settings? Meanwhile my tech-friend Madhu confirmed that the used 1080/2080 series market is continuing in heating-up and noted that when I see him at the next computer show that cash is king just like in Mumbai. Used 1080 series cards will definitely sell like hotcakes. Well with hard earned cash in hand the Bangladesh boys may even throw-in a copy of Fallout 4 long on my list to own and even play.
