MSI GeForce GTX 950 Gaming + 2-way SLI review 5

We review the MSI GeForce GTX 950 Gaming (in SLI as well), this entry-level to mainstream graphics card is armed with a GM206 Maxwell generation graphics processor from Nvidia. The product performs quite well in the 1080P area. Also the MSI card offers a nice factory tweaks and combined with AfterBurner we took the GPU towards 1575 MHz ! Let's check it out, shall we?

And I observed one more thing: This card is hot on iddle, almost 40degree C in 21degree C room.
In a normal room with say 25-26degree C this card will go up to 44-45degree C.hmm
The price is a mess, well its a normal thing on nvidia card. ;)

That's actually normal behavior because at idle the fans do not spin anymore, the cards are passive and stay passive up-to roughly 60-65 Degrees C, then the fans will kick in.

The card is slightly faster than R7-370 which is priced at $150. So for $10 more you get a slightly faster card with 20w lower TDP. I don't really see how this is an Nvidia issue.

In 1998 the Rivia 128 was released with 128bit memory bus, seventeen years later the Geforce 950 is released.... with 128bit bus? Really can't we move away from this?

It's Nvidia that means automatic knee jerk reaction from some users on here.

The card is rather impressive performance wise. Plus it is SLI capable with an over clock they rival my 670's over clocked. At $160 that is not bad performance.

Put it this way you can now get 690 performance for $320. How is that a bad thing?

Please stop with this your basic understanding of the subject at hand is lacking from this statement.
