From a gaming perspective at 1080p gets hard to justify the price difference from MB+CPU from an Intel solution with i7-4770.

Had one x79 MSI board, and it died, weak vrm chips and took a cpu with it. So msi is done for me.

Their is something up with the VRM's on this thing, pics of the deheatsinked board show 22 voltage regulating mosfets(16 in the cpu block and 6 on the nb block) making it 8+3?!?.
It appears this thing has a doubler on it, but don't know much else beyond that. Been looking for good image of the mosfets so i can look up their specs if anyone knows where i can find that?
